The Third National Flag Was Created By An Act Of The Second Confederate Congress And Approved By The President On 04 March 1865, Exactly Four Years After The First Raising Of The "Stars And Bars" In Montgomery. Very Few Flags Of This Pattern Were Produced During The Confederacy's Last Days.
